What is your jewelry made of?
- Most of our earrings are crafted with thick 18K gold plating over brass.
Additionally, we offer gold vermeil and silver-plated pieces. For specific material details, please refer to the product description on each item's page. - All our jewelry is hypoallergenic, nickel-free, cadmium-free, and lead-free.

Where are your products made?
- Our products are hand drawn in the Philippines and manufactured across factories in Asia.
How should I care for my jewelry?
To keep your jewelry looking its best, follow these care guidelines:
- Store Properly: Keep your pieces in a clean, dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight, to prevent tarnishing, fading, or discoloration. Store them in a soft pouch or jewelry box to help protect them from scratches.
- Avoid Moisture and Chemicals: Minimize contact with water, sweat, and liquid cosmetics such as perfumes, lotions, and sprays, as these can cause the metal to tarnish or lose its shine over time.
- Remove Before Water Exposure: Do not wear your jewelry while showering, swimming in pools, or in the ocean, as prolonged exposure to water and chlorine or salt can affect its appearance and durability.
- Handle with Care: When putting on or removing your jewelry, handle it gently to avoid unnecessary strain or bending, especially for delicate pieces.
Does your jewelry tarnish?
- Although our extra-thick gold plating makes our pieces tarnish resistant, all natural metals may tarnish over time. To keep your jewelry at its best, we recommend following our care instructions. If your jewelry still tarnishes you can gently buff your pieces with the polishing cloth that comes with your order to restore their natural shine.
What is gold vermeil?
- Gold vermeil typically means 2.5 microns of gold plating over sterling silver, but definitions vary by country. The USA requires 2.5 microns, while Canada allows 1.5 microns. The Philippines has no official standard, so some brands may use the term for thinner plating. At Penny Pairs, we use 2.5 microns of gold plating in all our gold vermeil pieces. We advise to check how many microns of gold a product is plated with before making a purchase.
Do you have fine jewelry?
- Yes, we offer fine jewelry, but only a limited selection is available online. Our fine jewelry is made with 14k to 18k solid gold, natural diamonds, and lab grown diamonds.

Are your products pawnable?
- Gold Plated Jewelry: these are not pawnable. Our jewelry is mostly made of extra thick 18K gold plating, and while it’s more durable than regular gold plating, it won’t be accepted in pawn shops.
- Fine Jewelry:Yes, these are pawnable as they are made with solid gold and natural diamonds.
What is under the 180 day guarantee?
- We guarantee repair or replacement if any damage to the material or workmanship of your Penny Pairs jewelry occurs. This does not apply to damage due to regular wear and tear like scratches, bent metals, or improper use and storage. For more information, head to our Returns & Exchanges page.
How can I book a bespoke jewelry appointment?
- To book a bespoke jewelry appointment, head to our bespoke appointment page. You can view our available bespoke designs and book an appointment directly on our website. Appointments are held at our showroom in Legazpi Village, Makati City. For more assistance, send us an email at love@pennypairs.com.
How do I find my ring size?
- You can find your ring size by referring to our ring size guide below. If you prefer, you can also visit any of our stores, where our team will be happy to assist you with finding the perfect fit.

Where are you located?
- All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Quezon City, Metro Manila in the Philippines.
What are your payment methods?
- We accept all Credit and Debit Card payments via PayPal.
How do I know my order is confirmed?
- After placing an order on our website, you should receive a confirmation email shortly after. You’ll also receive another email once your order is on the way.
Can I make changes to my order or change my address?

When will you ship my order?
- Orders are shipped one business day after payment has been processed. For orders made over the weekend, processing is on Monday and shipments are on Tuesday.
Do you offer gift packaging?
- Paper bags and notecards are available upon request. Kindly email love@pennypairs.com with your order number for any gift packaging needs.
How much is shipping for international orders?
- We offer a variety of shipping options for international orders, and the cost depends on your location and the speed of delivery you choose. You'll see the specific shipping prices for your country at checkout before you complete your purchase.
How long is delivery for international orders?
- Delivery times for international orders vary depending on your country and the shipping method you select. Generally, you can expect your order to arrive within 3-15 business days after it leaves our warehouse. You'll see estimated delivery times for the available options at checkout. Please note that deliveries to remote areas may take a little longer.
Will I need to pay custom duties and taxes on my international order?
- It's possible that your order may be subject to import duties and taxes once it enters your country. These charges are determined by your local customs authorities.
Is VAT or country tax applied to international orders?
- We don't add VAT or country-specific taxes to your order at the time of purchase. However, your local customs authorities may apply these charges upon entry into your country. We recommend checking your country's regulations regarding customs duties and taxes for more information.
How do I return my item?
- If you'd like to return an item, please contact us within 180 days of receiving your order. Just reach out to us directly or email hello@pennypairs.com. Please note that for hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned, and customers are responsible for the return shipping costs.
Can I return something I bought online at your physical stores?

Where are your stores located?
- Our stores are in Glorietta 2, Uptown Mall BGC, Eastwood Mall, U.P. Town Center, Alabang Town Center, and SM North Edsa. To view the exact locations, head to our store locator.
Is everything on the website available at the physical stores?
- Product availability may vary by store, as inventory differs per location. To check if a specific item is available at a physical store, you can view the availability on each product page on our website. Simply select the item you’re interested in, and the stock status for different locations will be displayed.
Can I order online and pick-up in-store?
- At the moment, we do not offer an online order pick-up option in-store. However, we’d be happy to assist you with your purchase either through our website for delivery or in person at any of our physical stores.
